How do I "screen" my child?

An ophthalmologist uses a slit lamp microscope during a "slit lamp" exam to magnify the anterior chamber of the eye. This should be done before dilation of the iris. The magnification of the anterior chamber fluid will expose any white blood cells floating there that are proof of uveitis.
